# Learn Guitar — Resources

> Interactive page: [`resources.html`](resources.html)

Curated free / open tools. Pedagogy on this site is drafted from **Berklee**, **Hal Leonard**, and **classical method books**, always checked against two sources. Justin Guitar is a topic checklist only — never copied.

## Audio in this room

- Guitar notes: [University of Iowa MIS](https://theremin.music.uiowa.edu/mis.html) via [tonejs-instruments](https://github.com/nbrosowsky/tonejs-instruments) (CC BY 3.0). See [`samples/guitar/CREDITS.md`](samples/guitar/CREDITS.md).
- Sa / drone / metronome: shared Sangeet practice bar (same as Singing and Piano).

## Theory (shared with piano)

- [musictheory.net lessons](https://www.musictheory.net/lessons)
- [Open Music Theory (OMT2)](https://viva.pressbooks.pub/openmusictheory/)
- This hub: [Piano · circle of fifths](/piano/circle-of-fifths.html)

## Guitar methods (check, don’t copy)

- Hal Leonard Guitar Method Book 1 — open chords, downstrokes, capo
- Berklee guitar lab practice — right hand locked to a click
- Classical: Carcassi, Sor, Giuliani 120 — [IMSLP](https://imslp.org/) public-domain methods. The *pima* method on this site: [Classical drills](drills-classical.md). Daily gym that pairs lab work with those studies: [Exercises](exercises.md).

## Voice / Sa

- [Singing practice](/singing/practice.html) — same Sa drone as the bar on every guitar page

## Teaching with this room

Each practice page has a **Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced** card. Assign one track, hear it back, then move. Kids stay on the Kids path until four downs are honest. Advanced here means tightness, sevenths, movable barre, reading at tempo, and the *pima* method on [Classical drills](drills-classical.md) — not jazz or CAGED.

- Beginner — 4-week plan on [Foundations](foundations.md).
- Intermediate — Month 2, sevenths, 12-bar, folk bass-strum; [Exercises](exercises.md) 10-minute routine.
- Advanced — Month 3, barre I–IV–V, 2-beat changes, start/stop silence.

  · Ear training (Tools): [/tools/ear-training.html](/tools/ear-training.html)

- Practice gym: [Drills](drills.md) · [Exercises](exercises.md) · [Break rut](break-rut.md) — style pages live inside the hubs, not on the home row

Scale and mode labs live on [Scales](scales.md) and [Modes](modes.md); compact technique labs stay on [Exercises](exercises.md).
