## Hear the right-hand dialect

Four loops on A (the interactive page plays them):

- **Ghosts between roots** — A on every beat, muted `x` on every &.
- **Rake into the root** — drag across muted G, D, A; land on E 5.
- **Anticipation** — A for three beats, D on the & of 4.
- **Octave jump on the hook** — the same rhythm low (E 5), then an octave up (D 7).

## Pedal point, written out

Hold one note in even eighths while the chords move above it (A under A · G · D · A). Keep time and volume flat. Try it with the [Backing band](/sangeet-yatra/tools/backing.html).

## Ready when

- Ghosts between roots at 90 bpm, every ghost quieter and pitchless.
- A rake lands on the beat.
- Anticipation on the & of 4, four times in a row.
- An eight-bar pedal even from first note to last.
