# Beyond the major scale lab

Pick a **family** (minor, pentatonic and symmetrical, modes of melodic minor, modes of harmonic
minor, exotic), a **scale** in that family, and a **root**, then press **Play scale**. Playback
is one note per beat at the metronome's tempo.
