# Sight Singing

Sight singing uses notation as a guide for pitch height and relative intervals. Unlike fretted or keyed instruments, the voice relies on audiation (inner hearing) and muscle memory.

## Solfège & Sargam Mapping

When tonic (Sa / Do) is C:
- 1: Do = Sa (C)
- 2: Re = Re (D)
- 3: Mi = Ga (E)
- 4: Fa = Ma (F)
- 5: Sol = Pa (G)
- 6: La = Dha (A)
- 7: Ti = Ni (B)
