Sanskrit in this line

kṣudh (क्षुध्) plus śānti (शान्ति) is kṣucchāntiḥ (क्षुच्छान्तिः). Before vā (वा) the visarga becomes r, so the line reads kṣucchāntir (क्षुच्छान्तिर्) vā (वा). The ā (आ) of śānti (शान्ति) is long in the print.
