The line
His form does not stand in the field of sight. No one sees him with the eye. By the heart, by thought, fitted by the mind: who know this become deathless.
Where it sits
The eye fails. The heart and the thought are the means named. Abhikḷpta (अभिकॢप्त) is this pāṭha (पाठ)'s participle, 'made to fit.'
Split: na saṃdṛśe tiṣṭhati (न संदृशे तिष्ठति) + rūpam asya (रूपमस्य) + na cakṣuṣā paśyati kaścana enam (न चक्षुषा पश्यति कश्चन एनम्) + hṛdā (हृदा) + manīṣā (मनीषा) + manasā abhikḷptaḥ (मनसा अभिकॢप्तः) + ye etat viduḥ (ये एतत् विदुः) + amṛtāḥ te bhavanti (अमृताः ते भवन्ति)
