Sanskrit, in depth
The words
| Word | Grammar | Sense |
|---|---|---|
| dikkālakalanonmuktā (दिक्कालकलनोन्मुक्ता) | nominative singular, feminine | freed from the fashioning of direction and time. diś (दिश्) is direction. kāla (काल) is time. kalanā (कलना) is fashioning. unmukta (उन्मुक्त) is released. |
| deśoddeśāviśeṣiṇī (देशोद्देशाविशेषिणी) | nominative singular, feminine | making no distinction of region and spot. deśa (देश) is a region. uddeśa (उद्देश) is a particular place. aviśeṣin (अविशेषिन्) makes no difference. |
| vyapadeṣṭum (व्यपदेष्टुम्) | infinitive | to designate, to point out. From vi (वि), apa (अप), and diś (दिश्). |
| aśakyā (अशक्या) | nominative singular, feminine | impossible. |
| asau (असौ) | nominative singular, feminine | she, that one. |
| akathyā (अकथ्या) | nominative singular, feminine | unutterable. kath (कथ्) is to tell. a (अ) takes it away. |
| paramārthataḥ (परमार्थतः) | adverb in tas (त) | in the highest sense. paramārtha (परमार्थ) is the highest matter. |
The phrases
The adjectives are feminine. They agree with the state he is about to call Bhairavī (भैरवी). vyapadeṣṭum aśakyā (व्यपदेष्टुमशक्या) is an infinitive with 'impossible.'
Sanskrit in this line
aśakyā (अशक्या) and akathyā (अकथ्या) are feminine because asau (असौ) here is feminine. The masculine asau (असौ) appeared in 11 for the god.
