However, wherever, one should cast the mind at the end of twelve. Moment by moment, for one whose activities have thinned, a difference would come with the days.
नेपालीमा
जसरी पनि, जहाँ पनि, बाह्रको अन्त्यमा मन फाल्नु। क्षणक्षणमा, वृत्ति क्षीण भएकाको भिन्नता दिनहरूसँग आउँछ।
Where it sits
The Yoga Sūtra (योग सूत्र) calls the mind's activities vṛtti (वृत्ति). This verse uses the same word for what thins.
Split: yathā (यथा) + tathā (तथा) + yatra (यत्र) + tatra (तत्र) + dvādaśānte (द्वादशान्ते) + manaḥ (मनः) + kṣipet (क्षिपेत्) + pratikṣaṇam (प्रतिक्षणम्) + kṣīṇavṛtteḥ (क्षीणवृत्तेः) + vailakṣaṇyam (वैलक्षण्यम्) + dinaiḥ (दिनैः) + bhavet (भवेत्)

The phrases
Any manner, any place, the mind is cast at the end of twelve. The result is not instant in the verse: dinaiḥ (दिनैः), by days, a difference comes for one whose vṛtti (वृत्ति) has thinned.
Sanskrit in this line
kṣīṇavṛtteḥ (क्षीणवृत्तेः) is a genitive bahuvrīhi (बहुव्रीहि). The person is in the genitive because vailakṣaṇyam (वैलक्षण्यम्) belongs to him.
