Sāṅkhya Kārikā / Verses 69–72, who passed it on / 71

शिष्यपरम्परयागतमीश्वरकृष्णेन चैतदार्याभिः सङ्क्षिप्तमार्यमतिना सम्यग् विज्ञाय सिद्धान्तम्

śiṣyaparamparayāgatam īśvarakṛṣṇena caitad āryābhiḥ saṅkṣiptam āryamatinā samyag vijñāya siddhāntam

The line

Come down by the succession of students, this was condensed into āryā (आर्या) verses by Īśvarakṛṣṇa (ईश्वरकृष्ण), of noble mind, after he had rightly understood the doctrine.

नेपालीमा

शिष्य परम्पराबाट आएको यो सिद्धान्त ठीकसँग बुझिसकेपछि श्रेष्ठ मनका ईश्वरकृष्णले आर्या श्लोकमा छोट्याए।

Where it sits

The last verse says what the condensation still contains: the topics of the older Ṣaṣṭi-tantra (षष्टि-तन्त्र), the teaching in sixty topics, without the stories and without the attacks on other schools.

Split: śiṣya-paramparayā (शिष्य-परम्परया) + āgatam (आगतम्) + īśvara-kṛṣṇena (ईश्वर-कृष्णेन) + ca (च) + etat (एतत्) + āryābhiḥ (आर्याभिः) + saṅkṣiptam (सङ्क्षिप्तम्) + ārya-matinā (आर्य-मतिना) + samyak (सम्यक्) + vijñāya (विज्ञाय) + siddhāntam (सिद्धान्तम्)

The phrases

The author names himself, which the sūtra (सूत्र) books do not do in the first line. He names himself as a condenser, not as the finder. The finder was the seer of verse 69. His work was to make it short and to keep the conclusion straight.

āryābhiḥ (आर्याभिः) is the meter. You do not need to scan it to learn the verses. The later note in the book's own margin is that meter is a second study.

Sanskrit in this line

Instrumental īśvarakṛṣṇena (ईश्वरकृष्णेन) is the agent of the passive saṅkṣiptam (सङ्क्षिप्तम्). vijñāya (विज्ञाय) is a gerund, 'having understood,' earlier than the condensing.
