Sāṅkhya Kārikā / Verses 69–72, who passed it on

Verses 69–72, who passed it on

Summary

Verses 69 to 72 say who passed the teaching on. The knowledge is old, and it reaches the hearer through a line of teachers. The last verses do not add a new tattva. They close the book by naming the transmission, so the seventy-two can be recited as one received teaching.
