Haṭha (हठ) Yoga Pradīpikā (प्रदीपिका)

भ्रान्त्या बहुमतध्वान्ते राजयोगमजानताम् ।
हठप्रदीपिकां धत्ते स्वात्मारामः कृपाकरः bhrāntyā bahumatadhvānte rājayogam ajānatām |

The line

For those who, in the dark of many views, have not come to know rāja (राज) yoga, compassionate Svātmārāma (स्वात्माराम) sets down the Haṭha-pradīpikā (हठ-प्रदीपिका).

नेपालीमा

धेरै मतको अँध्यारोमा राज योग जान्न नपुगेकाका लागि करुणामय स्वात्माराम हठप्रदीपिका प्रस्तुत गर्छन्।

Where it sits

Pradīpikā (प्रदीपिका) is a small lamp. The verse gives that name to the book, and it gives the dark to the many views in which rāja (राज) yoga has not been known. ajānatām (अजानताम्) is those who have not come to know it.
