The line

A cloth four fingers wide and fifteen hands long, moistened, swallowed slowly by the path the guru taught, and drawn back again: that is called the dhauti act.

Where it sits

A heading, tatra dhautiḥ (तत्र धौतिः), stands before the verse and is not recited. The verse gives the cloth's measure and the swallowing. The sitting glosses those words and adds no further procedure.
