śaṅkhadundhubhinādaṃ ca na śṛṇoti kadācana |

The line

The verse says he never hears the sound of conch and drum. By the unmanī (उन्मनी) state the body becomes like a log, for certain.

नेपालीमा

श्लोकले ऊ शङ्ख र ढोलको ध्वनि कहिल्यै सुन्दैन भन्छ। उन्मनी अवस्थाबाट शरीर निश्चय मुढाजस्तो हुन्छ।

Where it sits

The na śṛṇoti (न शृणोति) is the verse's own. Śaṅkha (शङ्ख) and dundubhi (दुन्दुभि) are conch and drum, the outer instruments. Kāṣṭhavat (काष्ठवत्) is like a piece of wood.

Split: śaṅkha (शङ्ख) + dundhubhi (दुन्धुभि) + nādaṃ (नादं) ca (च) na (न) śṛṇoti (शृणोति) kadācana (कदाचन) / kāṣṭhavaj (काष्ठवज्) jāyate (जायते) deha (देह) unmanyāvasthayā (उन्मन्यावस्थया) dhruvam (ध्रुवम्)
