वदति means “he says.” It follows पठति. ब्रवीति is the other word for “he says.” ब्रवीति does not follow पठति. Say that column whole.

| Sentence | Meaning |
|---|---|
| गुरुः सत्यं वदति। | The teacher says what is true. सत्यम् means “truth,” and it is written सत्यं before a consonant. गुरुले सत्य भन्नुहुन्छ। |
| अहं किं ब्रवीमि। | What do I say? |
| ते उत्तरं वदन्ति। | They say the answer. |
| सः मम नाम ब्रवीति। | He says my name. |

- Say वदामि, वदसि, वदति, then ब्रवीमि, ब्रवीषि, ब्रवीति.
- Say गुरुः सत्यं वदति।
