Lesson 62: The Husband
Index · Lesson 61: The Friend · Lesson 63: The Cow
पतिः means “husband.” The subject looks like अग्निः. The other jobs do not. Do not say पतिना, पतिने, or पत्ते. पशुपतिः and गणपतिः, on the gods page, are compounds and do follow अग्नि. The plain word पतिः does not.
