Lesson 82: By Hand, With the Teacher
Index · Lesson 81: Having Wealth · Lesson 83: For the Teacher
The with-form already means “with” and “by.” This lesson sorts three uses you can now say.
सह takes the with-form: गुरुणा सह, “with the teacher.”
The tool is the with-form without सह: हस्तेन लिखामि, “I write with the hand.” लेखन्या लिखामि, “I write with a pen,” uses लेखनी from the objects page.
The cause is also the with-form: भयेन न गच्छामि, “I do not go, because of fear.” भयम् means “fear,” and it follows पुस्तकम्. भयेन is its with-form.
