अथवा शुद्ध तत्त्वमा जोडिएपछि शक्ति बाँधिएकोदेखि मुक्त हुन्छ।
Where it sits
The pure principle returns as śuddhavidyā (शुद्धविद्या) at 1.21. paśu (पशु) returns as the mothers of the bound at 3.19.
Split: śuddhatattvasandhānāt (शुद्धतत्त्वसन्धानात्) + vā (वा) + apaśuśaktiḥ (अपशुशक्तिः)
Sanskrit, in depth
The words
| Word | Grammar | Sense |
|---|---|---|
| śuddhatattvasandhānāt (शुद्धतत्त्वसन्धानात्) | ablative singular, neuter | from joining to the pure principle. śuddha (शुद्ध) is pure. tattva (तत्त्व) is a principle, a that-ness. sandhāna (सन्धान) is a joining. |
| vā (वा) | indeclinable | or. |
| apaśuśaktiḥ (अपशुशक्तिः) | nominative singular, feminine | the power with paśu (पशु) removed. paśu (पशु) is the bound one, the creature. The prefix a (अ) removes it. śakti (शक्ति) is power. |
The phrases
vā (वा) marks this as another way, beside the heart of 1.15. From joining to the pure tattva (तत्त्व), the power is apaśuśakti (अपशुशक्ति).
Sanskrit in this line
Ablative āt (आत्) before v (व्) is recited ād (आद्). vā (वा) stays a separate word, so the privative a (अ) of apaśu (अपशु) remains audible. If vā (वा) were fused to it, the a (अ) would hide inside vāpaśu (वापशु).
Say it back
Say what vā (वा) is doing, and what the prefix a (अ) removes.
