Vijñāna Bhairava / Verses 81–110 (उपदेश) / 108

108

Vijñāna Bhairava (विज्ञान भैरव)

निराधारं मनः कृत्वा विकल्पान् न विकल्पयेत् ।
तदात्मपरमात्मत्वे भैरवो मृगलोचने
nirādhāraṃ manaḥ kṛtvā vikalpān na vikalpayet |
tadātmaparamātmatve bhairavo mṛgalocane

The line

Having made the mind without a support, one should not construct constructings. In being that self and the supreme self, O deer-eyed one, there is Bhairava (भैरव).

नेपालीमा

हे मृगनयने, मनलाई आड बिनाको बनाएर विकल्पहरूको विकल्प नगर। तदात्म र परमात्म भावमा भैरव हुन्।

Where it sits

The verse's na vikalpayet (न विकल्पयेत्) is addressed to constructings themselves. Bhairava (भैरव) is the nominative that stands in that state.

Split: nirādhāram (निराधारम्) + manaḥ (मनः) + kṛtvā (कृत्वा) + vikalpān (विकल्पान्) + na (न) + vikalpayet (विकल्पयेत्) + tadātmaparamātmatve (तदात्मपरमात्मत्वे) + bhairavaḥ (भैरवः) + mṛgalocane (मृगलोचने)
