dvādaśābhyadhikaṃ devi yaj jñātvā jñānavij janaḥ
The line
Of waveless teachings, a hundred is said in brief, and twelve more, O Goddess. Having known which, a person is one who knows knowing.
नेपालीमा
हे देवी, तरङ्गरहित उपदेश संक्षेपमा सय र अरू बाह्र भनिएका छन्। जसलाई जानेपछि मानिस ज्ञानवित् हुन्छ।
Where it sits
A hundred and twelve is the verse's own count of the teachings. The ślokas (श्लोक) from 24 to 138 are more than a hundred and twelve, because some teachings share a verse and some verses carry the count's frame. This book keeps the śloka (श्लोक) numbers. It does not renumber them into a hundred and twelve.
Split: nistaraṅgopadeśānām (निस्तरङ्गोपदेशानाम्) + śatam (शतम्) + uktam (उक्तम्) + samāsataḥ (समासतः) + dvādaśābhyadhikam (द्वादशाभ्यधिकम्) + devi (देवि) + yat (यत्) + jñātvā (ज्ञात्वा) + jñānavit (ज्ञानवित्) + janaḥ (जनः)
