Where it sits
Paścimatāna (पश्चिमतान) is the stretch along the back. 1.31 is its fruit, and the sentence runs on.

The quarters run 22, 22 syllables. A hyphen in the split is a compound joint, a teaching mark, and the voice joins it.
Say it back
Cover the English and say the verse in one sentence. Stretching both feet on the ground like sticks, taking the two tips of the feet with the arms, the forehead placed on the knees: he should stay so. They call this the back-stretch.
