The line
Cupping the hands and binding the lotus very firmly, the chin pressed close on the chest, meditating on that in the mind, again and again driving the apāna (अपान) wind up and pressing down the filled prāṇa (प्राण), a man reaches an unequalled waking by the power of śakti (शक्ति).
Where it sits
A long verse. Apāna (अपान) is the downward wind, driven up. Prāṇa (प्राण) is pressed down. The meeting of the two returns in the bandhas.
