The line

The cool substance set in the opening, standing inside the crown of Meru: a wise one declares the truth there, and its mouth belongs to the downward rivers. The essence flows from the moon, and by that the verse says there is death of men. He should bind it. The act that is easy is the lower one. The verse says the body's success is otherwise absent.

Where it sits

Meru (मेरु) is the mountain the verse uses for the body's axis. The essence from the moon is the same stream as 3.49. The na anyathā (न अन्यथा) is the verse's own.

Say it back

Cover the English and say the verse in one sentence.
