महाशून्यं तदा याति सर्वसिद्धिसमाश्रयम्
tṛtīyāyāṃ tu vijñeyo vihāyo mardaladhvaniḥ |
mahāśūnyaṃ tadā yāti sarvasiddhisamāśrayam

The line

In the third, the drum-sound of the open air is to be known. Then he goes to the great void, the refuge of every success.

नेपालीमा

तेस्रोमा खुला आकाशको ढोलको आवाज जान्नुपर्छ। तब ऊ हरेक सिद्धिको आश्रय महाशून्यमा जान्छ।

Where it sits

The line reads vihāyo mardala-dhvaniḥ (विहायो मर्दल-ध्वनिः). Vihāyas (विहाय) is the open air. Mardala (मर्दल) is the drum. This is paricaya (परिचय), the acquaintance. The gloss keeps the open air. It does not replace the reading.

Split: tṛtīyāyāṃ (तृतीयायां) tu (तु) vijñeyo (विज्ञेयो) vihāyo (विहायो) mardala (मर्दल) + dhvaniḥ (ध्वनिः) / mahā (महा) + śūnyaṃ (शून्यं) tadā (तदा) yāti (याति) sarva (सर्व) + siddhi (सिद्धि) + samāśrayam (समाश्रयम्)
