The vowels

Summary

Beats 1 to 4 are the vowels. The first is a, i, u, and the marker. The second is the vocalic ṛ (ऋ) and ḷ (ऌ), and a marker. The third is e and o. The fourth is ai and au. From these beats the name ac is made, and it means every vowel. The markers are not letters of the alphabet. Two different ṇ (ण्) markers must not be collapsed into one.
