ती नै बीजसहितको समाधि हुन्।

Where it sits

1.17 opened with saṃprajñāta (संप्रज्ञात), samādhi (समाधि) in which something is known. This line gathers every division since 1.41 and files them there: all of them still have a seed. 1.51 will name the samādhi (समाधि) that does not.

Split: tāḥ (ताः) + eva (एव) + sabījaḥ (सबीजः) + samādhiḥ (समाधिः)

Sanskrit, in depth

The words

WordGrammarSense
tāḥ (ताः)nominative plural, femininethose. The samāpattis (समापत्ति) just divided.
eva (एव)indeclinablethe very same.
sabījaḥ (सबीजः)nominative singular, masculinewith seed. sa- (स) “with,” bīja (बीज) “seed.”
samādhiḥ (समाधिः)nominative singular, masculinesamādhi (समाधि). The predicate.

The phrases

tāḥ eva (ताः एव) is recited tā eva (ता एव). The feminine plural points at the samāpattis (समापत्ति), which are feminine. sabījaḥ samādhiḥ (सबीजः समाधिः) is masculine. The line does not force them into one gender. Those samāpattis (समापत्ति) are samādhi (समाधि) with seed. You saw this in 1.7: each noun keeps its own gender.

“With seed” means a content is still there. Something is known, even if the knowing has become very fine. The seed is what can still sprout an impression.

Sanskrit in this line

The fact to keep is the gender break. tāḥ (ताः) is feminine plural because samāpatti (समापत्ति) is feminine. samādhiḥ (समाधिः) is masculine. “A is B” does not copy the ending from A onto B. āḥ (आः) before the vowel of eva (एव) drops, as pūrvakaḥ itareṣām (पूर्वकः इतरेषाम्) did in 1.20.

Say it back

Point at tāḥ (ताः) and say what it points at. Point at sabījaḥ (सबीजः) and say which noun it agrees with.
