प्रातिभाद् वा सर्वम्

prātibhād vā sarvam

The line

Or from the intuitive, everything.

नेपालीमा

अथवा प्रातिभबाट सबै कुरा थाहा हुन्छ।

Where it sits

A break in the map. The intuitive was a fruit of knowing puruṣa (पुरुष) at 3.36, in the traditional order some editions use; in this numbering 3.36 follows 3.35. Here prātibha (प्रातिभ) appears early, as an “or.” Read it as an alternative source, not as a step between crown and heart.

Split: prātibhāt (प्रातिभात्) + vā (वा) + sarvam (सर्वम्)

The phrases

Or from the intuitive, everything. prātibhāt (प्रातिभात्) before the voiced v (व्) is recited prātibhād (प्रातिभाद्), because t (त्) before a voiced consonant can voice to d (द्). vā (वा) marks an alternative to the place-by-place tour. sarvam (सर्वम्) is the nominative: everything is known, not one more item.

The line is short because the claim is wide. It is also the claim 3.37 will fold into the list of obstacles. “Everything” as a power is not the goal of the first pāda (पाद).

Sanskrit in this line

t (त्) before a voiced v (व्) becomes d (द्): prātibhād vā (प्रातिभाद् वा). You have seen t (त्) become d (द्) before a vowel. Before a voiced consonant it voices as well. vā (वा) is the alternative, from 1.23.

Say it back

Say the alternative in three words, and do not add a place.
