Where it sits
The pair of 3.41. Hearing was one relation. Moving is the other, with an extra samāpatti (समापत्ति). 3.43 is the great bodiless state, an outward activity that is not imagined, and the covering of the light dwindles from it.
Split: kāya (काय) + ākāśayoḥ (आकाशयोः) + saṃbandha (संबन्ध) + saṃyamāt (संयमात्) + laghu (लघु) + tūla (तूल) + samāpatteḥ (समापत्तेः) + ca (च) + ākāśa (आकाश) + gamanam (गमनम्)

The phrases
From saṃyama (संयम) on the relation of body and space, and from coinciding with light cotton, moving in space. kāya (काय) + ākāśa (आकाश) is a (अ) + ā (आ) = ā (आ). saṃyamāt laghu (संयमात् लघु) is recited saṃyamāl laghu (संयमाल् लघु): t (त्) before l (ल्) becomes l (ल्). samāpatteḥ ca (समापत्तेः च) is samāpatteś ca (समापत्तेश् च), eḥ (एः) or ḥ (ः) before c (च्) becoming ś (श्). And ca (च) + ākāśa (आकाश) is cā (चा), a (अ) + a (अ).
Two means, one fruit. The cotton is the image of the samāpatti (समापत्ति): the body taken as that light.
Sanskrit in this line
A final t (त्) before l (ल्) becomes l (ल्). saṃyamāt laghu (संयमात् लघु) is saṃyamāl laghu (संयमाल् लघु). Same habit as t (त्) before n (न्), j (ज्), and c (च्): t (त्) assimilates. ca (च) adds the second means, and then ca (च) + ā (आ) makes cā (चा).
Say it back
Say both means before the fruit. The ca (च) is the hinge.
