na vāyukriye pṛthagupadeśāt

The line

Not in a compound: air, and kriya (क्रिय), because of a compound: pṛtha (पृथ), gupa (गुप), and a place.

Where it sits

In Brahma Sūtra (सूत्र), adhyāya (अध्याय) 2. Avirodha. The teaching does not collide with reasoning, or with the other systems, in the way an objector claims. The line is short. śreṣṭhaś (श्रेष्ठश्) from 2.4.7 is still in force. A sūtra (सूत्र) leaves a word out when the line before still holds it. That carrying is anuvṛtti (अनुवृत्ति).
