the Aṣṭāvakra Gītā (अष्टावक्र गीता)
अहो अहं नमो मह्यं यस्य मे नास्ति किञ्चन ।
अथवा यस्य मे सर्वं यद् वाङ्मनसगोचरम् aho ahaṃ namo mahyaṃ yasya me nāsti kiñcana |
athavā yasya me sarvaṃ yad vāṅmanasagocaram
The line
Ah, I bow to myself, I of whom there is nothing, or else I of whom there is everything that comes within speech and mind.
नेपालीमा
अहो, मलाई नमस्कार, जसको केही पनि छैन, अथवा जसको वाणी र मनको पहुँचभित्र पर्ने सबै कुरा छ।
Where it sits
Janaka is still speaking. The fourth bow returns to the alternative already stated, nothing or all.
Split: aho (अहो) + aham (अहम्) + namaḥ (नमः) + mahyam (मह्यम्) + yasya (यस्य) + me (मे) + na (न) + asti (अस्ति) + kiñcana (किञ्चन) + athavā (अथवा) + yasya (यस्य) + me (मे) + sarvam (सर्वम्) + yat (यत्) + vāṅmanasagocaram (वाङ्मनसगोचरम्)
Sanskrit, in depth
The words

|---|---|---|
| aho (अहो) | indeclinable | ah. |
| aham (अहम्) | nominative singular | I. |

| mahyam (मह्यम्) | dative singular | to me. |
| yasya (यस्य) | genitive singular, masculine | of whom. |
| me (मे) | genitive singular | of me. |
| na (न) | indeclinable | not. |
| asti (अस्ति) | present third person singular | is. |
| kiñcana (किञ्चन) | nominative singular, neuter | anything. |
| athavā (अथवा) | indeclinable | or else. |

| sarvam (सर्वम्) | nominative singular, neuter | all. |
| yat (यत्) | nominative singular, neuter | which. Recited yad (यद्) before vāṅmanasagocaram (वाङ्मनसगोचरम्). |
| vāṅmanasagocaram (वाङ्मनसगोचरम्) | nominative singular, neuter | within the range of speech and mind. vāc (वाच्) is speech. manaḥ (मनः) is mind. gocara (गोचर) is the range. Agrees with yat (यत्). |
The phrases
The bow is the same. Two genitives, yasya me (यस्य मे), are offered with athavā (अथवा) between them: of me there is na kiñcana (न किञ्चन), or of me there is sarvam (सर्वम्). yat (यत्) defines that all as whatever is vāṅmanasagocaram (वाङ्मनसगोचरम्).
Sanskrit in this line
na plus asti is nāsti (नास्ति). yat before vāc (वाच्) is yad. Inside vāṅmanasagocaram (वाङ्मनसगोचरम्), vāc (वाच्) before m is vāṅ (वाङ्).
