Aṣṭāvakra Gītā / Adhyāya 18
Adhyāya 18
Summary
Chapter 18 is the long chapter, one hundred verses, Aṣṭāvakra (अष्टावक्र) speaking. It opens with homage in which error is a dream. The verses go over the teaching again from many doors: you are pure awareness, the body is not you, pleasure and pain are visitors, and the one who knows this is already free. The length is the point. The same sentence is heard until it is ordinary.
