Adhyāya 19

Summary

Chapter 19 is Janaka, in this edition. The thorn is drawn from the heart. Enough of the talks of knowledge, of the world, and of renunciation. Eight verses of a man who does not want a further discourse. The speaker is the one the uvāca (उवाच) prints. It is not corrected to Aṣṭāvakra (अष्टावक्र).

नेपालीमा

अध्याय १९ मा यो संस्करणअनुसार राजा जनकको भनाइ प्रस्तुत छ। हृदयबाट काँडो झिकियो। ज्ञान, संसार र वैराग्यका तीन कुरा अब पुगे। थप प्रवचन नचाहने मानिसका यी आठ श्लोक हुन्। वक्ता उवाचमा छापिएका व्यक्ति नै हुन्। अष्टावक्र बनाएर सच्याइएको छैन।
