He is not happy, nor unhappy. He is not dispassionate, and he is not one who has a bond. He is not one who seeks release, nor a released one. He is not a something, and he is not anything at all.
नेपालीमा
ऊ सुखी होइन, दुःखी पनि होइन। विरक्त होइन, सङ्ग भएको पनि होइन। मुमुक्षु होइन, मुक्त पनि होइन। केही होइन, केही पनि होइन।
Where it sits
Aṣṭāvakra (अष्टावक्र) is still speaking, and the knower of the paired words is now denied every name from happy to released.
Split: na (न) + sukhī (सुखी) + na (न) + ca (च) + vā (वा) + duḥkhī (दुःखी) + na (न) + viraktaḥ (विरक्तः) + na (न) + saṅgavān (सङ्गवान्) + na (न) + mumukṣuḥ (मुमुक्षुः) + na (न) + vā (वा) + muktā (मुक्ता) + na (न) + kiñcit (किञ्चित्) + na (न) + ca (च) + kiñcana (किञ्चन)

The phrases
A chain of na (न) with nominative predicates and no finite verb. The subject is the knower carried from the previous verse. ca (च) vā (वा) joins duḥkhī (दुःखी) to sukhī (सुखी). vā (वा) joins muktā (मुक्ता) to mumukṣuḥ (मुमुक्षुः). The last pair is na (न) kiñcit (किञ्चित्) na (न) ca (च) kiñcana (किञ्चन).
Sanskrit in this line
viraktaḥ (विरक्तः) before n (न्) is virakto (विरक्तो). mumukṣuḥ (मुमुक्षुः) before n (न्) is mumukṣur (मुमुक्षुर्). kiñcit (किञ्चित्) before n (न्) is kiñcin (किञ्चिन्). The file prints muktā (मुक्ता), long ā (आ), not the masculine mukto (मुक्तो) that a visarga before na (न) would have given.
