Itihāsa / Mahābhārata chronicle
Mahābhārata chronicle
Sāra-saṃgraha (सारसंग्रह). Fifty sittings. The story, in order. Not the verse-by-verse shelf.
The grand chronicle of the eighteen parvas, from the river vow to the last road. A sitting here is a chapter of the story, not a verse-chapter of the vulgate. When a vulgate chapter is named, it is named as the vulgate. The critical edition is not given a number this shelf has not checked.
The hall, the exile, the eighteen days, the teaching from the arrows, and the road north are all walked. The page says what the poem says was done. It does not teach a reader how to do harm. Where a teaching has its own shelf, the Gītā, the Yakṣa's questions, the Sanatsujātīya, the Mokṣadharma, the thousand names, the sitting points there and does not sit the verses again.
The last sitting holds three parvas, the Mausala, the Mahāprasthānika, and the Svargārohaṇa, so the walk stays fifty and the ending stays one road.
