Nāṭyaśāstra (नाट्यशास्त्र), rasa
वीरस्यापि च यत्कर्म सोऽद्भुतः परिकीर्तितः ।
बीभत्सदर्शनं यच्च ज्ञेयः स तु भयानकः vīrasyāpi ca yatkarma so 'dbhutaḥ parikīrtitaḥ |
bībhatsadarśanaṃ yacca jñeyaḥ sa tu bhayānakaḥ

And the deed of the heroic is declared the wondrous. And the sight of the disgusting is to be known as the fearful.
