Nāṭyaśāstra (नाट्यशास्त्र), rasa
शृङ्गारो विष्णुदेवत्यो हास्यः प्रमथदैवतः ।
रौद्रो रुद्राधिदैवत्यः करुणो यमदैवतः śṛṅgāro viṣṇudevatyo hāsyaḥ pramathadaivataḥ |
