the Aṣṭāvakra Gītā (अष्टावक्र गीता)
यस्यान्तः स्यादहङ्कारो न करोति करोति सः ।
निरहङ्कारधीरेण न किञ्चिदकृतं कृतम् yasyāntaḥ syād ahaṅkāro na karoti karoti saḥ |
nirahaṅkāradhīreṇa na kiñcid akṛtaṃ kṛtam
The line
If the sense of I is inside him, he does not act, and he acts. By the steady one without the sense of I, nothing undone is made done.
नेपालीमा
जसभित्र अहङ्कार हुन्छ, त्यो गर्दैन र गर्छ पनि। अहङ्कार नभएको धीरले नगरिएको केही पनि गरिएको हुँदैन।
Where it sits
Astavakra is still speaking. The line sets the one who has the sense of I beside the steady one who does not.
Split: yasya (यस्य) + antaḥ (अन्तः) + syāt (स्यात्) + ahaṅkāraḥ (अहङ्कारः) + na (न) + karoti (करोति) + karoti (करोति) + saḥ (सः) + nirahaṅkāradhīreṇa (निरहङ्कारधीरेण) + na (न) + kiñcit (किञ्चित्) + akṛtam (अकृतम्) + kṛtam (कृतम्)

The phrases
yasya (यस्य) owns ahaṅkāraḥ (अहङ्कारः), placed antaḥ (अन्तः), with syāt (स्यात्). Both karoti (करोति) share saḥ (सः). nirahaṅkāradhīreṇa (निरहङ्कारधीरेण) is the agent of the nominal clause na kiñcit akṛtam kṛtam (न किञ्चितकृतम् कृतम्).
Sanskrit in this line
yasya plus antaḥ (अन्तः) is yasyāntaḥ (यस्यान्तः). syāt (स्यात्) plus ahaṅkāraḥ (अहङ्कारः) is syād (स्याद्) ahaṅkāraḥ (अहङ्कारः), and ahaṅkāraḥ (अहङ्कारः) before na is ahaṅkāro (अहङ्कारो). kiñcit (किञ्चित्) plus akṛtam (अकृतम्) is kiñcid (किञ्चिद्) akṛtam (अकृतम्).
Say it back
For the steady one without the sense of I, what is not turned into a done deed?
