Where it sits
The prose says fear arises from a distorted cry, from seeing a being, from an owl, from alarm, an empty house, a forest, and from seeing or hearing the death or bondage of one's own people. Kṛtaka (कृतक) is the feigned fear, acted more softly. 6.71 separates the natural from the feigned.
