yattvātiśayārthayuktaṃ vākyaṃ śilpaṃ ca karmarūpaṃ vā |
tatsarvamadbhutarase vibhāvarūpaṃ hi vijñeyam

The line

A sentence, a craft, or a deed joined with an extraordinary object: all of that is to be known as having the form of a determinant in the wondrous rasa (रस).

नेपालीमा

असाधारण वस्तुसँग जोडिएको वाक्य, शिल्प वा कर्म, त्यो सबै अद्भुत रसको विभावको रूप हो भनेर जानिन्छ।

Where it sits

The prose says wonder arises from seeing a divine person, from getting a wish, from a garden, a temple, a court, a celestial chariot, and from a display of magic. The verse widens the determinant to any extraordinary word, craft, or act.
