Nāṭyaśāstra (नाट्यशास्त्र), rasa
स्त्रीनीचप्रकृतिष्वेष शोको व्यसनसम्भवः ।
धैर्येणोत्तममध्यानां नीचानां रुदितेन च strīnīcaprakṛtiṣveṣa śoko vyasanasambhavaḥ |
dhairyeṇottamamadhyānāṃ nīcānāṃ ruditena ca

विपत्तिबाट जन्मेको यो शोक स्त्री र नीच स्वभावका मानिसमा हुन्छ। उच्च र मध्यममा धैर्यले हुन्छ र नीचमा रुदनले हुन्छ।
