सन्त्रासाच्छोकाद्वा भयात्प्रहर्षाच्च कारणोपगतात् ।
उत्क्रम्यापि हि कार्यो मदप्रणाशः क्रमात्तज्ज्ञैः santrāsācchokādvā bhayātpraharṣācca kāraṇopagatāt |

The line
From terror, from grief, from fear, and from a thrill, when a cause has come, intoxication is to be done as passing away, in sequence, by those who know it, even after it has risen.
