Sloth is to be acted as come from exhaustion, and also as born of one's nature. Of those who have left off food, from the not-beginning of undertakings.

Where it sits

Ālasya (आलस्य). The prose says it arises, for women and the low, from exhaustion, sickness, pregnancy, nature, weariness, and being full of food. Not starting the work is the sign.
