Nāṭyaśāstra (नाट्यशास्त्र), rasa
एवमष्टविकल्पोऽयमावेगः सम्भ्रमात्मकः ।
स्थेर्येणोत्तममध्यानां नीचानां चापसर्पणैः evamaṣṭavikalpo 'yamāvegaḥ sambhramātmakaḥ |

The line
Thus this agitation is of eight divisions, its nature confusion. By steadiness, of the high and the middle. By running off, of the low.
नेपालीमा
यसरी यो आवेग आठ भागको हुन्छ र यसको स्वभाव भ्रम हो। उच्च र मध्यममा स्थिरताले, नीचमा भागेर यो हुन्छ।

Āvega (आवेग). The prose lists portents, wind, rain, an elephant run wild, hearing the dear and the undear, calamity, and injury. The verse gives eight without naming each, and again the three natures. 7.64 gives occasions.
