नेपालीमा
मानिसमा राजाजस्तै र शिष्यमा गुरुजस्तै सबै अवस्थामध्ये स्थायी अवस्था यहाँ महान् हो।
Where it sits
The prose asks how, if forty-nine states bring the rasa (रस) states to completion, only the stable ones reach the nature of rasa (रस). The likeness is a king: many men share a body, and one reaches kingship by family, conduct, knowledge, and craft, and the others become his retinue. So the passing states rest on the stable state. The stable one, attended by determinants, consequents, and passing states, receives the name rasa (रस). This verse is that likeness.
Split: yathā (यथा) narāṇāṃ (नराणां) nṛpatiḥ (नृपतिः) śiṣyāṇāṃ (शिष्याणां) ca (च) yathā (यथा) guruḥ (गुरुः) / evaṃ (एवं) hi (हि) sarvabhāvānāṃ (सर्वभावानां) bhāvaḥ (भावः) sthāyi (स्थायि) mahāniha (महानिह)
