The phrases
मत्-अनुग्रहाय परमम् गुह्यम् अध्यात्म-संज्ञितम् mat-anugrahāya paramam guhyam adhyātma-saṃjñitam names the speech by the favor it was for. A supreme secret, and its name is the teaching of the self.
yat tvayā uktam vacaḥ tena (यत् त्वया उक्तम् वचः तेन) is that word and what it did. Spoken by you. By that. yat (यत्) and tena (तेन) are the pair, which and by-that. वचः + तेन vacaḥ + tena is recited vacas tena (वचस्तेन). aḥ (अः) before the voiceless t (त्) becomes s (स्).
mohaḥ ayam vigataḥ mama (मोहः अयम् विगतः मम) is the result he is reporting. This delusion of mine has departed.
Sanskrit in this line
मोहः + अयम् mohaḥ + ayam is recited moho 'yam (मोहोऽयम्). aḥ (अः) before a (अ) becomes o (ओ), and ऽ marks the a (अ) that is no longer heard as its own syllable. vigataḥ (विगतः) before m (म्) is vigato (विगतो): the same aḥ (अः), before a voiced consonant, becomes o (ओ), and there is no avagraha because nothing was a vowel to lose.
Say it back
Cover the English. Say what has gone, and by whose word. If mohaḥ (मोहः) comes out as a question about the battle, stay here. This delusion has gone.
