ihaikasthaṃ jagat kṛtsnaṃ paśyādya sacarācaram

Kṛṣṇa (कृष्ण) is still speaking, to Arjuna (अर्जुन).

The verse

See here today the whole world standing in one place, the moving and the unmoving, in my body, and whatever else you wish to see.

नेपालीमा

आज यहाँ मेरो शरीरमा एकै ठाउँमा उभिएको चल्ने र नचल्ने सारा जगत् हेर, र तिमी अरू जे देख्न चाहन्छौ त्यो पनि हेर।

Where it sits

The hundreds and thousands of 11.5 are gathered. One body is the place. The divine eye has not yet been named. The next verse will say his own eye cannot do this.

The phrases

iha eka-stham jagat kṛtsnam paśya adya (इह एक-स्थम् जगत् कृत्स्नम् पश्य अद्य) puts the whole world in one place, and the time is today. eka-stham (एक-स्थम्) describes jagat (जगत्): the world, standing together.

sa-cara-acaram mama dehe (स-चर-अचरम् मम देहे) is where, and what is included. In my body, the moving and the unmoving with it. dehe (देहे) is locative, "in," the same case as kṣetre (क्षेत्रे) in 1.1.

यत् च अन्यत् द्रष्टुम् इच्छसि yat ca anyat draṣṭum icchasi leaves the list open. And whatever else you wish to see.

Sanskrit in this line

यत् + च yat + ca is recited yac ca (यच्च). t (त्) before c (च्) becomes c (च्). Then anyat (अन्यत्) before the voiced d (द्) of draṣṭum (द्रष्टुम्) is recited anyad (अन्यद्): a voiceless t (त्) voices to d (द्) before a voiced consonant. Two changes of t (त्), in one line, before two different sounds.

Say it back

Where the world is to be seen. If dehe (देहे) comes out as "in the sky" or "on the field," stay here. The place is his body.
