11.55
मत्कर्मकृन्मत्परमो मद्भक्तः सङ्गवर्जितः ।
निर्वैरः सर्वभूतेषु यः स मामेति पाण्डव ॥
matkarmakṛn matparamo madbhaktaḥ saṅgavarjitaḥ
nirvairaḥ sarvabhūteṣu yaḥ sa mām eti pāṇḍava
Kṛṣṇa (कृष्ण) is still speaking, to Arjuna (अर्जुन). This is the last verse of the chapter.
The verse
Who does my work, holds me as the highest, is devoted to me, is free of attachment, and is without enmity toward all beings, he comes to me, son of Pāṇḍu (पाण्डु).
Where it sits
The form has been shown and taken back. The chapter ends on the person who comes, not on the person who saw. bhaktyā (भक्त्या) in 11.54 is here a man who works, who ranks him highest, who is devoted, who is unattached, and who has no enemy among beings. That is the way to him when the divine eye is gone.

The phrases
mat-karma-kṛt mat-paramaḥ mat-bhaktaḥ saṅga-varjitaḥ (मत्-कर्म-कृत् मत्-परमः मत्-भक्तः सङ्ग-वर्जितः) is the person, in four nominatives. He does my work, holds me as the highest, is devoted to me, and is free of attachment.
निर्-वैरः सर्व-भूतेषु यः सः माम् एति nir-vairaḥ sarva-bhūteṣu yaḥ saḥ mām eti adds the last mark and the verb. Who is without enmity toward all beings, he comes to me.
Sanskrit in this line
yaḥ (यः) and saḥ (सः) are the relative pair, who and he. The nominatives in front of yaḥ (यः) describe that who. The verb eti (एति) belongs to saḥ (सः). मत्-कर्म-कृत् + मत्-परमः mat-karma-kṛt + mat-paramaḥ is matkarmakṛn matparamaḥ (मत्कर्मकृन्मत्परमः): t (त्) before m (म्) becomes n (न्). mat (मत्) before the voiced bh (भ्) of bhakta (भक्त) is mad (मद्): madbhaktaḥ (मद्भक्तः). saḥ (सः) before mām (माम्) is recited sa (स), the irregular pronoun, as in 11.14.
Say it back
The nominatives, and where he comes. If he comes by the Veda, or if saṅga-varjitaḥ (सङ्ग-वर्जितः) is missing, stay here. Devotion in this verse is not attachment under another name.
