The phrases

brahmaṇaḥ hi pratiṣṭhā aham (ब्रह्मणः हि प्रतिष्ठा अहम्) is the claim the hi (हि) explains. For I am the ground of Brahman (ब्रह्म). The verse has no finite verb. "Am" is supplied. pratiṣṭhā (प्रतिष्ठा) is what he is. brahmaṇaḥ (ब्रह्मणः) is what stands on that ground.

amṛtasya avyayasya ca śāśvatasya ca dharmasya sukhasya ekāntikasya ca (अमृतस्य अव्ययस्य च शाश्वतस्य च धर्मस्य सुखस्य एकान्तिकस्य च) hangs three more genitives on the same ground. Of the imperishable deathless. Of everlasting dharma (धर्म). Of happiness that is absolute. Each pair agrees. avyayasya (अव्ययस्य) with amṛtasya (अमृतस्य), śāśvatasya (शाश्वतस्य) with dharmasya (धर्मस्य), ekāntikasya (एकान्तिकस्य) with sukhasya (सुखस्य).

Sanskrit in this line

प्रतिष्ठा + अहम् pratiṣṭhā + aham is recited pratiṣṭhāham (प्रतिष्ठाहम्). आ + अ ā + a becomes ā (आ), so aham (अहम्) is hidden inside the long ā (आ). The word is still two words. aham (अहम्) is the subject, and pratiṣṭhā (प्रतिष्ठा) is what he is. Lose aham (अहम्) and the ground has no one who is it. The genitives all depend on pratiṣṭhā (प्रतिष्ठा): the ground of Brahman (ब्रह्म), of the deathless, of dharma (धर्म), of happiness.

Say it back

Cover the English. Say what he is, then the four things he is the ground of. If aham (अहम्) is lost inside pratiṣṭhāham (प्रतिष्ठाहम्), stay here.
