The verse

Free of pride and delusion, having conquered the fault of attachment, constant toward the self, desires turned back, freed from the pairs called pleasure and pain, the undeluded go to that imperishable place.

Where it sits

15.4 said the place is to be sought. This verse says who arrives. The cut was made with non-attachment. The people who go are the ones in whom attachment, pride, desire, and the pairs have already lost.

The phrases

nirmānamohāḥ jitasaṅgadoṣāḥ adhyātmanityāḥ vinivṛttakāmāḥ (निर्मानमोहाः जितसङ्गदोषाः अध्यात्मनित्याः विनिवृत्तकामाः) is one crowd of nominatives, all describing the people who go. No pride and no delusion, the fault of attachment conquered, constant toward the self, desires turned back. The visarga of the first two drops before the next voiced or vowel sound, so the line says nirmānamohā jitasaṅgadoṣā (निर्मानमोहा जितसङ्गदोषा).

dvandvaiḥ vimuktāḥ sukhaduḥkhasaṃjñaiḥ (द्वन्द्वैः विमुक्ताः सुखदुःखसंज्ञैः) is the freedom from the pairs. Freed from the pairs called pleasure and pain. The instrumentals say what they are freed from.

गच्छन्ति अमूढाः पदम् अव्ययम् तत् gacchanti amūḍhāḥ padam avyayam tat is the going. Undeluded, they go to that imperishable place. गच्छन्ति + अमूढाः gacchanti + amūḍhāḥ is gacchanty amūḍhāḥ (गच्छन्त्यमूढाः): i (इ) before a (अ) becomes y (य्). पदम् + अव्ययम् padam + avyayam is padam avyayam (पदमव्ययम्), and the last m (म्) before t (त्) is the anusvāra of avyayaṃ tat (अव्ययं तत्).

Sanskrit in this line

निः + मान niḥ + māna is recited nirmāna (निर्मान). Before a voiced consonant the visarga of niḥ (निः) becomes r (र्). The compound is still "without pride," and moha (मोह) is the second thing they are without. A bahuvrīhi (बहुव्रीहि) in the nominative plural can be the whole subject. gacchanti (गच्छन्ति) has no other noun to agree with.

Say it back

The people, then the place. If amūḍhāḥ (अमूढाः) is said as mūḍhāḥ (मूढाः), the wrong ones are walking. Stay here.
