15.6
न तद्भासयते सूर्यो
न शशाङ्को न पावकः ।
यद्गत्वा न निवर्तन्ते
तद्धाम परमं मम ॥
na tad bhāsayate sūryo na śaśāṅko na pāvakaḥ
yad gatvā na nivartante tad dhāma paramaṃ mama
Kṛṣṇa (कृष्ण) continues, and the quarters return to eight.
The verse
The sun does not illumine that, nor the moon, nor fire; having gone where they do not return, that is my supreme abode.
नेपालीमा
सूर्यले त्यसलाई उज्यालो पार्दैन, न चन्द्रमाले, न आगोले, जहाँ पुगेपछि तिनीहरू फर्किँदैनन्, त्यो मेरो परम वास हो।
Where it sits
The place of 15.4 and the going of 15.5 close on his own name for it: my supreme abode. The tree section ends here. The next verse turns to a portion that does move in the world of the living.

The phrases
na tat bhāsayate sūryaḥ na śaśāṅkaḥ na pāvakaḥ (न तत् भासयते सूर्यः न शशाङ्कः न पावकः) refuses three lights. Sun, moon, and fire do not illumine that. Each na (न) has its own nominative, and the verb is said once. सूर्यः + न sūryaḥ + na is sūryo na (सूर्यो न). शशाङ्कः + न śaśāṅkaḥ + na is śaśāṅko na (शशाङ्को न).
yat gatvā na nivartante (यत् गत्वा न निवर्तन्ते) is the same mark as 15.4, said with a gerund. Having gone to which, they do not return. nivartante (निवर्तन्ते) is the middle; 15.4 said nivartanti (निवर्तन्ति). Same sense.
tat dhāma paramam mama (तत् धाम परमम् मम) names it as his. That is my supreme abode.
Sanskrit in this line
A final t (त्) before a voiced consonant becomes d (द्). तत् + भासयते tat + bhāsayate is tad bhāsayate (तद्भासयते). यत् + गत्वा yat + gatvā is yad gatvā (यद्गत्वा). तत् + धाम tat + dhāma is tad dhāma (तद्धाम): before dh (ध्) the same voicing doubles, त् + ध् t + dh becoming द्ध ddh. Three joints, one rule.
Say it back
What does not light it, and whose abode it is. If mama (मम) drops out, the place is only "supreme." Stay here.
