यो मामेवमसम्मूढो
जानाति पुरुषोत्तमम् ।
स सर्वविद्भजति मां
सर्वभावेन भारत ॥

yo mām evam asammūḍho jānāti puruṣottamam
sa sarvavid bhajati māṃ sarvabhāvena bhārata

Kṛṣṇa (कृष्ण) continues, and bhārata (भारत) is Arjuna (अर्जुन).

The verse

Who, undeluded, knows me thus as the supreme person, he, knowing all, worships me with his whole being, descendant of Bharata (भरत).

नेपालीमा

जसले मोह बिना मलाई यसरी सर्वोच्च पुरुष जान्छ, ऊ सबै जानेर आफ्नो सारा भावले मेरो पूजा गर्छ, हे भरतवंशी।

Where it sits

The name is not left as a title. Knowing him as that person is the knowing, and worship with the whole being follows. He speaks to Arjuna (अर्जुन) by the name Bhārata (भारत). The chapter's last verse will say what that knowing finishes.

The phrases

यः माम् एवम् असम्मूढः जानाति पुरुषोत्तमम् yaḥ mām evam asammūḍhaḥ jānāti puruṣottamam is the knower. Who, undeluded, knows me thus as the supreme person. यः + माम् yaḥ + mām is yo mām (यो माम्). एवम् + असम्मूढः evam + asammūḍhaḥ is evam asammūḍhaḥ (एवमसम्मूढः), and the visarga before jānāti (जानाति) becomes o (ओ): asammūḍho jānāti (असम्मूढो जानाति).

saḥ sarvavit bhajati mām sarvabhāvena (सः सर्ववित् भजति माम् सर्वभावेन) is what follows the knowing. He, knowing all, worships me with his whole being. सः before a consonant is sa (स). सर्ववित् + भजति sarvavit + bhajati is sarvavid bhajati (सर्वविद्भजति), t (त्) before bh (भ्) becoming d (द्). The break is after vit (वित्). It is not one verb.

Sanskrit in this line

सः + सर्ववित् saḥ + sarvavit is recited sa sarvavit (स सर्ववित्). saḥ (सः) before a consonant drops its visarga. This is special to saḥ (सः) and eṣaḥ (एषः). The visarga of asammūḍhaḥ (असम्मूढः) in the line above does not drop before j (ज्). It becomes o (ओ), the ordinary rule. One line has both, so they can be told apart.

Say it back

Knows me thus, and worships with the whole being. If sarva-bhāvena (सर्व-भावेन) shrinks to a part of life, stay here.
